INTRODUCTION
Women are frequently treated as second-class citizens in underdeveloped nations. Despite having greater responsibilities at home as caregivers, women have very little power in their homes and communities. Domestic violence can result from the unequal societal power, which frequently results in fewer options for women to work and pursue higher education. This gender-sensitive management training program aims to improve communication between the sexes and foster respect for one another's positions.
To construct and facilitate training sessions, the program first hires local gender specialists who have a thorough understanding of the topic within the present social and cultural circumstances. This workshop fosters conversations that draw attention to gender equality practices that are good and reveal areas that require more comprehension. Both genders discuss diverse roles, expectations, and importance of both genders, first in two groups, then coming together in one session.
Participants can also discuss times when they felt in control or out of control, and how those moments related to their individual positions in their families and society. The topic of what modifications might be done to promote an atmosphere of respect, decency, and understanding for both genders is brought up during brainstorming sessions.
