Introduction
The division of labor in families, communities, and the workplace is notably influenced by gender as a fundamental organizing factor of society. The program explores how systems and organizations establish and uphold gender roles and relationships, how gender influences participants' own lives, cultural and societal expectations of men and women, and how these influences affect the development process. Its goal is to increase the knowledge, attitudes, and abilities of development professionals in order to produce institutions, policies, programs, and projects that are gender-responsive.
The training's overarching goal is to improve key institutions' planning for gender equality and the management abilities of their staff so that they can contribute more effectively to the implementation of gender-sensitive development policies and the mainstreaming of gender in order to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals, or SDGs..
