INTRODUCTION
In an effort to popularize their causes, many organizations have always made an effort to engage with the media. Although they have made an effort to communicate with the media by distributing copies of their reports, research, studies, and press releases, we still do not frequently see activities, topics, or opinions from organizations written about or televised. This is obviously NOT because some groups are not noteworthy in the eyes of the media.
According to a preliminary poll, this is due to:
- A lack of information from organizations that has been expertly packaged to attract media and make them useful for their purposes.
- How development organizations place their media releases, how they follow them up, and how they network with media practitioners.
- The reality that most organization personnel have inadequate, and sometimes no, media training. In other words, it involves comprehending how the media work and adapting media strategies to the media's internal workings.
